Objectives

Westholme Wagyu has several objectives:

Cattle
	Develop the finest herd of Japanese fullblood Wagyu outside Japan.
	Raise Japanese fullblood Wagyu feeder cattle to 300kg using Japanese methods for feed and growth.
	Raise Japanese fullblood Wagyu steers to 700kg+ for conversion to boxed beef.
	Market both Wagyu feeder cattle and Wagyu meat back to Japan obtaining pricing parity with equal quality Japan grown Wagyu.
Produce wagyu feeder cattle to produce high quality meat to be marketed around the globe. Semen
	Produce and store semen from the 3 Japanese full blood champion Wagyu sires previously based at Hawkeye, Iowa, USA.
	Market this semen to cattle breeders in Australia and other selected markets.
	Obtain semen from other top quality Wagyu bulls in Japan and export for embryo and calf production to ensure genetic diversity and future herd development.
