Westholme 2005 Bull and Female Sale - Results.
The 2nd Annual Westholme Wagyu Sale was
conducted at Tarana on April 29th 2005 with solid prices achieved.
All 42 Bull Lots and 20 Female Lots sold with no injuries to
people or cattle.
The top three prices paid were:-
Lot 22 – Y0087 Terutakara – Doi
Sire: 003 MGS: 001 sold to David Slack of NSW for $13,500.

Lot 5 – Y0100 Hirashige – Hiro
Sire: 001 MGS: 003 sold to Bengalla Pastoral Holdings at Yelarbon
Queensland for $12,600.

Lot 20 Y0178 Fujitoyokuni
Sire: Katsumi MGS: 002 sold to Aaron Murphy, Yulera Queensland,
for $12,000.

All 42 Bulls offered were sold for an average

85 Wagyu-cross steers were sold
in what is believed to be the biggest offering in Australia and
achieved record prices. All sired by Westholme Kitateruyasu-doi
003.
