A• Visit to Westholme, Tarana by Japan Beef Journal Group.

On May 4th Takigawa-san, owner and Editor of the Japan Beef Journal led a small group of Japan Wagyu people on a tour to Sydney and selected other events including the Beef 2000 Fair at Rockhampton. Takigawa-san has previously visited both Westholme and Westholme Associate Gooree Park and also subsequently joined segments of the Westholme Group Tour of Japan.

B• Japan Tour by Westholme & Associates

On May 21st people from Westholme and present and possible Associates toured Japan for 7 days, returning on May 28th.

The group comprised:-

• Gooree Park: Brian Sainty & Jamie Edmonds

• Longford Station: Arthur Dew & Pam Dew

• Westholme: Chris Walker, Lynne Walker, Mathew Walker, Hiroshi Kurosaki, John Hardie, Don Nicol, Rob Barrett, Lyn Barrett & Tom Wilson

• Translator: Atsushi Yamaki

The tour objectives were: -

• Visits to Japan customers and inspect our calves previously shipped from Australia.

• Develop relationships with present and future customers

• Gain more knowledge of the Japan Wagyu situation

• Have a good time!
